Decision may be taken by the student or by the School Research Committee

Before a final decision is taken by the School, the student will be invited to attend a meeting to discuss the situation. The meeting will be chaired by a member of staff from another school and will include the supervisor and the research tutor.

Students withdrawing from the programme will be encouraged to write an account of the work undertaken during registration, possibly for the award of th Associateship of the IoE.
