A propolsal to interrupt must be discussed with the supervisor and written notification to the Registry must be received before the start of the interruption.

Generally for one or two terms

Where the interruption is for longer than a year, the student will be requried to submit a statement outlining the work completed and a plan of action.

Interruption for a period of three years will normally result in automatic cancellation of the registration.
